Alright, I am putting up a pool.

I will put 20 dollars on October 12th as the day we drop bombs on Iran.

What do I get for my federal taxes? Our public schools are failing, Social Security is insolvent, Medicare & Medicaid are run by a corrupt government that uses taxpayer money to overpay the corporations that run it. Our military is in shambles, our economy is on the brink of complete collapse and all our leaders can think of to do in order to solve the problem is to use our tax dollars to bail out the mistakes of corporations while Americans end up homeless and broke. And stuck with the bill.

Do people understand how much money we have spent in Iraq? Seriously really, get a grip and really GET how much money has gone down the hole? And even if they do, do they realize that the Iraq bill, from a dollar perspective, HASN’T COME DUE YET??? The shit going on with the economy right now has NOTHING to do with the THREE FUCKING TRILLION DOLLARS that this clusterfuck in Iraq will eventually cost us.

$3,000,000,000,000 / 300,000,000 = $10,000/ea.

That means that RIGHT NOW, without ANY interest, each and every American in this country is in for $10 fucking K. On top of our current federal and state income tax burden.

Now, I pay for electricity. I pay for internet. I pay for television and I pay for my phone. The tax I pay at the pump covers most of the cash either state or federal government spend on shit like road repairs, but whatever. I pay for the gas to heat my home and cook my food. I pay a shitload at the hospital and even pay tax on some of that shit. I pay sales tax. I even pay retail tax, even though the corporations pass ALL their taxes on to me when I buy their shit. So what the fuck do I get?

A military that is now broken. An infrastructure that is crumbling. A justice system that favors their own, the rich and the politicians, and if to add insult to injury, herd me like a fucking piece of cattle and actually go out of their way to find a reason to make me pay them for some bullshit slight.

So what the hell is a rational guy supposed to do? What did our forefathers do, when faced with this kind of bogus farce of representation, when bullied into paying for something they don’t even want or need?

When a man with a checkbook has greater sway than a million voices, OR EVEN ONE FUCKING VOICE, then hasn’t our grievance become that of the founders of this country?

That last post was relatively lazy, but I wrote it mostly because I couldn’t sleep. So, that is the quality you get under those circumstances.

This post is to celebrate that after being on hold for 20 minutes with the County Registrar, it turns out that I am a registered Republican, so I can vote for my boy, Ron Paul. Hells yes. I wish they might have put that on the card like they said they would, but what the hell. It is right and that is all that matters.

Oh, and as far as the military thing in the last post and me painting the cops as the new military and all that troop business being cops, it also turns out that the posse comitatus act which limits the military from policing in America was repealed. Fuck. Missed that on the first shot.

Whatevs. I am happy enough for now. I get to walk down to the firehouse and no one will give me shit. Sweet balls.

And I will also be able to vote to expand indian gaming. I think I am doing the right thing, but for those of you who live in states without voter propositions you’ll never understand just how fucked up they are. It is impossible to figure out what the fuck happens with them who really supports them or what your vote even says. I like voting for them anyways, though, because I like pushing buttons.

Watching CSPAN tonight.

approx 11:16pm Micheal Chertoff- “I don’t think the American people make sense.”

Ha. That was a funny slip. Taken out of context it is pretty awesome. It was in reference to the Real ID. It was to the argument that one should not need an ID to get on a plane at all. Yeah, I don’t know about that either. I mean, I hate the idea of necessary government ID as much as the next person, but plane safety is not to the level that I would like that to work. He was saying the philosophy of not having a national ID doesn’t make sense and meant to say that he didn’t think the American people think the American people thought the same as he thought. He didn’t want to spend the time to actually do that.

I think, in reference to the plane issue, is that airlines should institute their own rock-solid security such that people don’t have to worry about “Mohammed Atta in row 2″ as Mr. Chertoff put it, because, even if he was there, it wouldn’t matter because he couldn’t hurt a fly. Tell you what, why don’t we have flight attendants and security guards. And they won’t be dumb or crazy security guards, because any of the airlines that did would lose clients. People wouldn’t trust and wouldn’t fly. Then the companies people do trust will be able to buy those chump ass idiot companies planes. Planes start falling out of the sky and people will stop using that airline. But the point would be to then institute measures that actually do insure this. There should be an option with flight to have baggage mailed to your destination with flight. Boom- there goes the bomb problem. No one is going to have a bomb in their suitcase if they don’t have a suitcase. And if they do have a bomb in their suitcase all it will do is wreck everybody else’s shit and kill a flight crew. Yeah, that would suck, but there haven’t been many incidents profiled about mail planes blowing to bits.

You want to bring a bag on the plane it gets searched. If you want to bring it on and have it the moment you get off, sure, but it gets searched. I’d rather be able to have my privacy and not be bothered with some asshole staring at all my shit. If the messenger service wasn’t good on a particular airline, then you don’t use that airline. You still have to fly, so you go with the guy that didn’t fuck up you getting your change of clothes the next day or original copy of the magna carta or whatever it was you were transporting across the country.

The point then would be to render airline transport completely harmless. This, mixed with access to small planes to be able to fly or get someone to fly you on an individual basis, would be awesome.

There would then be that danger of people hijacking small planes and jets(it would be economically unfeasible for any of the jumbo models would only be accessible to the airborne equivalent of bus trash, that would have to go through the security processes I outlined above, so you would basically have to sneak onto the runway and hijack it when no one was looking, nobody else could afford it without a shit ton of people wanting to get trucked around on it) with lower security standards would be blapping into buildings willy nilly. That, I guess would be a possibility. But it seems to me that the same possibility exists right now. And I doubt it would even come close to automobile deaths. A small plane hit a building on TV in Hamburger Central(where I will one day witness the apocalypse) and it basically looked like a really bad traffic accident only high up in the air.

A possible added benefit of this could be people to wear more revealing clothing to ease with the security process. Those with poor self-image or “modesty” will still wear their clothes. Perhaps the rest will go to the gym and look sharp for their flight. That, my friends, is preventative medicine as well. And you ought not need an ID for that either.

I like Ron Paul so far in the election. He is definitely my favorite.

This is an old one that I never published.

So, I was hanging with Jon tonight in little tokyo, eating curry udon and we were talking about how much his company owed him. I come back from the can and the dude sitting next to us is chatting up Jon. I had heard him on his bluetooth talking about chopping someone’s head off and doing “some Jeffery Dahmer shit”.

He starts telling Jon how he can solve his problem, turns out this guy is some sort of enforcer for organized crime and he offers to help.

So, the roomate that was to move in tomorrow may not move in.

He just got a letter from the IRS, and not one of those refund “sorry we stole too much of your money this year” letters, but the opposite kind.

Arg.

I hated the IRS before just on principle and because of the whole they steal my money thing, but that is pretty much background noise at this point. Now they are directly intervening against my second amendment rights and not allowing my militia to be well organized at all.

I hearby declare a fatwa against the IRS and all of their supporters. The ESM will throw its political weight behind the Mike Huckabee campaign for he has declared his intentions to abolish the institution. Huzzah, Mike Huckabee!
